I've been liking the HP dv5z
15.4 inch widescreen is about right (not high res, makes things too small) HDMI for TVs and monitors Component would be cool but nobody really advertises it. Firewire for the camcorder eSata DDR2 is fine because it is uber cheap for 4GB Bluetooth Integrated Webcam is a must SD Card slot for the camera High Capacity Battery option if it makes sense (HPs are reasonable, Dells are outrageous)
Disk I/O seems to be the worst enemy of laptop performance I'll probably by an after market SSD as well OCZ (Samsung), or Intel if they're any good (unknown yet)

On the Horizon ATI Mobility Radeon 4800 790GM possibly XGP would be AWESOME QPI for intel stuff, but probably not until late 09 or early 2010.
